Terms of Use
Presora is not medical advice and not an emergency service. It helps you organise and remember medicines. It does not diagnose, treat or check that a prescription is right. Always follow your doctor's and pharmacist's instructions, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("Presora", "we", "us") for using the Presora app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Presora.
1. What Presora does
Presora lets you record your medicines, including by photographing a prescription, reminds you when doses are due, keeps a history of doses, stores health records you add, and can alert people you invite (caregivers) if a dose is missed.
2. Not a medical device
- Presora is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
- Nothing in Presora is medical advice. Don't start, stop or change any medicine because of something in the app; ask your doctor or pharmacist.
- Safety notes the app shows are general information, not advice for you.
3. Reading prescriptions
- Prescription reading, by our server or by an AI service you allow, can be wrong, especially with handwriting. You must check every medicine, strength, dose and time against the prescription before confirming it. What you confirm is what Presora will remind you about.
- If you're unsure what a prescription says, ask the prescriber or pharmacist rather than guessing.
4. Reminders and alerts
- We work hard to deliver reminders and caregiver alerts on time, but they depend on things outside our control: your phone's settings and battery saving, notification permissions, internet access, and services such as Google's notification system.
- Don't rely on Presora as your only way of remembering medicines that are critical to your health, and don't rely on caregiver alerts in an emergency.
- Keep notification and alarm permissions on, and check that reminders work on your phone.
5. Caregivers
- Only invite people you trust. Invited caregivers can see your dose adherence and the information you choose to share.
- If you're a caregiver, use what you see only to support the person who invited you, and respect their privacy.
- You can remove a caregiver, or stop being one, at any time.
6. Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian may manage a child's medicines on their own account.
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at info@presora.health if you think your account has been misused.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Presora to break the law, to store or share information about someone without their permission, to try to access other people's accounts or data, to interfere with or overload the service, or to copy or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows.
8. Plans and payments
Presora is currently free while it's in testing. Some features may later need a paid plan. If so, we'll show the price and terms clearly before you pay, and you won't be charged without agreeing to it.
9. Your content
You own the information you put into Presora. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete it at any time.
10. Our service
Presora, its design and its software belong to us. We may change, add or remove features. If we plan to shut Presora down, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can save your information.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Presora and delete your account at any time, in the app or on this website. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Presora is provided "as is" while in testing. To the fullest extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will be error-free or always available, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for harm resulting from relying on Presora instead of professional medical advice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Presora after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country], without taking away any protection you have under the laws where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem.
